Una de las rivalidades más icónicas de ECW. Víctor está invicto en pagos por ver, ganó el campeonato en WrestleMania 13 y jamás ha perdido un combate desde entonces. Defendió en SummerSlam con éxito dentro de la cámara de la eliminación enfrentándose a otros cinco luchadores. Attitude fue el último hombre eliminado y, antes de caer derrotado ante Victor, se aseguró de reventarle el ojo contra una silla dejando atónitos a todo el estadio. Al ECW siguiente, vimos como Attitude se terminaba por romper del todo: cambió su look, su forma de hablar e incluso trajo a Brother Hunter Nero a confrontar y atacar brutalmente a Víctor. El campeón resistió pero, a la semana siguiente, finalmente se volvió "broken" y quemó el ring con Attitude adentro. Una brutal rivalidad que nos asegurará un combate de alto nivel. ¿La estipulación?
